As you might know, the Church in India is facing very difficult times these days. There have been more attacks on worshipping Christians these past couple of years than at any other time in the history of modern India. The latest attack on Christians in the state of Manipur has seen churches burned down, homes of Christians burned down, and even a Bible College/Seminary campus burned down.

Please pray for all those who are attacking Christians. Pray that the Lord would have mercy on them and that their eyes will be opened. Pray for believers who have lost everything and had to run away to escape from certain death. Many are in refugee camps.

As we read in Hebrews 11:35ff about the early Christians, these believers in India are also experiencing various kinds of physical and emotional torture. Yet, we know that those who remain strong in their faith, and do not forsake the Lord, will be rewarded for their faithfulness. While going through persecution is not at all pleasant, we can see through the eye of faith, the reward that awaits the faithful. May we have eyes of faith to see what the Lord has in store for those who remain faithful to Him!
